Every five years, Kassel becomes the centre of the art world for 100 days. Sisters Katrin and Susanne Heinz, who grew up in Kassel, follow dOCUMENTA (13) in the summer of 2012 from set-up to dismantling – not from the curators’ point of view, but with the people of Kassel: a taxi driver, a carpenter, an architect, a Chinese art student and curious pensioners. A tongue-in-cheek portrait of the clash between world art and the North Hessian provinces.
