Messiah Superstar

Messiah Superstar

In the 90s, Thomas Janowski aka Messiah was a star: his hit “XTC” stormed the charts – and then nothing followed. Almost 30 years later he runs his mother’s restaurant in Berlin-Wedding, until a camera crew wants to follow him for a docusoap. Together with his manager and biggest fan Leon, Messiah smells his chance for a big comeback and puts everything on the line. A mockumentary series in eight episodes for Joyn.
