Merz gegen Merz

On Anne’s botched birthday, Anne and Erik Merz realise that nothing is left of their marriage but routine – the separation is decided. But the house, their teenage son and the family firm, whose founder has just been diagnosed with dementia, keep the two together against their will. Ralf Husmann’s divorce comedy starring Annette Frier and Christoph Maria Herbst moves between biting verbal sparring, revealing flashbacks and quiet, serious moments.
