With “Kroymann”, Maren Kroymann returned to Das Erste as a satirist in 2017. The sketch comedy dissects sexism, images of age, the shift to the right and the TV business with dry malice – from a job interview in which being a woman counts as a handicap to a Femen activist over 60. Every episode ends with a song. The pilot went viral even before it aired: “Wir sind die Alten” got more than 775,000 views.
